We’re pleased to announce the release of three new translations of the book Filum System®: A Brief Guide: in German, Japanese, and Korean.
These additions join the previously available versions in Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Russian, English, Portuguese and Chinese, making a total of 11 languages.
First presented by the author on December 1, 2014, this guide is tailored for the general public, including those without a medical background. Royo Salvador envisioned this book to help patients, families, associations, and non-medical professionals better understand the theory of traction of the filum terminale, Filum Disease, Neuro-cranio-vertebral Syndrome, and the FS® method and its outcomes.
To date, hundreds of patients diagnosed and operated on at ICSEB have received a copy of this guide as a gift. Others have obtained it by making a donation to the Chiari & Scoliosis & Syringomyelia Foundation (CSSF), the organisation responsible for publishing it. This has allowed them to share the guide’s content with those around them who might need it, helping them understand the condition they live with and what the future holds following the exclusive treatment provided by our neurosurgical team.
We’re thrilled that more readers worldwide can now access this text and we look forward to its future release in a digital format. For now, those interested in acquiring a printed copy can visit the CSSF website at https://chiarifoundationbcn.com/bibliografia-chiari-fundacion/ and request it in their preferred language by emailing: [email protected].
We hope you find the information useful and of interest!
